College Student Coaching:
Colleges today struggle with retaining students. Students struggle with many issues, such as anxiety, fitting in, academics, balancing school, work and life, managing money, stress, and relationships, to name a few. These stressors present themselves in students not sleeping well, lack of self-care, skipping classes, and substance use — to name a few. Coaching is the premier method for supporting students to figure out what they want, assess and tackle barriers, take action towards their goals, and hold students accountable. A coach listens intently, helps resolve feelings of emotional tension, and upholds the student’s strengths, goals, and passions.
